What We Do

Our Impact

We are all about Transformation

The transformative power of our advocacy, early intervention, inclusive childcare, medical rehabilitation, and autism services for young children and their families to instill confidence, improve health and inspire a sense of balance is at the center of what Grant Williams Foundation does. Our goals are to help and educate millions of families, enhance developmental values and be able to maximize the child’s full potential by providing helpful resources and ultimately becoming a reliable source and foundation for autism awareness, education in minority neighborhoods.

Grant Williams Foundation educates, advocates, and provides support services to ensure a life without limits for people with a spectrum of disabilities. We work to enhance the dignity and quality of life of individuals and families by strengthening communities, eliminating barriers to opportunity, and helping people in need reach their full potential through learning and the power of work.

Grant Williams Foundation believes that individual differences in people are a natural part of life and that disabilities provide children and adults with unique perspectives, insights, and abilities, which contribute to the overall well being of society.

Our Impact

How We See What We Do

Everyone in this world has a unique purpose. When we focus on abilities instead of disabilities, those with special needs can be part of the strongest friendships and influence people in positive ways that others can’t. Unwavering acceptance, positive thinking, honesty, and commitment are just a few of the important lessons these individuals teach by example.
Our Focus

Helping One Child at a Time

The organization values children as the hope for the evolving improvement of humankind, and places great value on the family as a caring protector of children’s vulnerability, as well as a catalyst for their healthy growth and development, and places a tremendous value on parents because of the contributions they make as the leaders of families toward supporting the health, education, and development of their children at home and in society. We also promote the active and informed participation of parents of children with disabilities in shaping, implementing, and evaluating public policy that affects them.

We believe in the power of information and resourceful support and have infused a proven model of peer support throughout all our work. Most of our staff members are parents or family members of children with disabilities and people with disabilities.

Every Child Deserves a Strong Start

We believe that together we can change the world, one child at a time, one family at a time, one community at a time.
